PRICING GUIDELINES
Assignment Photography:
Assignment photography fees are licensing fees, which are
based on production and use of the image. The production
and usage fee is calculated per day for in-house
or portfolio usage rights. In-house rights include use in
proposals, sales sheets and a one-time use in a brochure,
PR package, direct mail or ad. Licensing for web site use
is on an annual basis. All fees include basic equipment
and other overhead costs only.
Direct expenses, such as assistants, film, processing, scanning,
digital manipulations, prints, slides, etc. are billed in
addition to the basic fees. If costs are shared with other
users, 25% per user will be added, though the fee and the
expenses generally remain the same except for reproductions
needed by the additional users. If the uses for the image
include national and international advertising and publishing,
then these will be quoted separately.
Please note:
If clients want to share the cost with others, as in some
architectural and construction situations, the production
costs and fees may be split and additional rights use must
be added for each additional user of the images. In no case
is it permissible for a client to share the
usage fee, without prior agreement. Although in some cases,
because of quantity, this fee may be somewhat lower when
there are several images and many users.
Our policy is to work with each individual and project separately,
rather than have one party as a lead and pay
for all the work and then be reimbursed by others. This
also helps in the clarification of who holds licenses to
use and display the images.
Unless other arrangements are made in advance, all images
created by Susan Frost Photography are copyrighted by Susan

Frost may be reproduced without permission from Susan Frost
