When you buy an image from Susan Frost Photography, you purchase the right to use that image for: one-time, non-exclusive right, regional, national or worldwide single use for the following applications:
EDITORIAL
(consumer magazines, newspapers, text and trade books, supplements) CD-ROM and off-line multimedia designs.
ADVERTISING
(commercial use and retail photo products--postcards, calendars, tradeshows, etc.)
END USER
At the time of the purchase of the license, you must designate exactly one specific named end-user of the image. Only your designated end-user may use the photo, but there is no restriction on who else we might sell it to.
LICENSING FEES
Fees are calculated upon the following table. A different license can be negotiated as detailed in the second row of the table. Please contact us detailing your requirements and ask for a custom price quote.

Our fee is based upon one-time single-use rights, with all rights reverting to Susan Frost Photography after six (6) months. This allows us to re-sell images to other non-competing magazines or companies.
Photo buyer will detail meaning of requested exclusive rights, i.e. if exclusive rights are limited to:
• Specific Use
• All Exclusive
• Specific Time-Period
• Indefinitely
REPRINT RIGHTS
We can negotiate what is known as "reprint rights" (which actually means second, or third, or fourth rights). Typically, reprint rights extension is an additional fee calculated as a percentage of the indicated fee. There are specific prohibitions in our license against "resale" of the images.
Our images are not licensed for use in a downloadable or FTP format. Each time you buy an image you must specify: intended use, media, geographic region and duration. By keeping records on each photo's usage, we may prevent the competing use of the image.
Your legal relationship with Susan Frost Photography is governed by our End User License Agreement. Susan Frost Photography requests that credit to photographer, Susan E. Frost shall appear adjacent to the images or on the credits page or screen.
