An award winning photographer, Susan's work has been on display at several Portland area art galleries such as the Lawrence Gallery in Portland, Oregon’s Pearl District. The exhibit, Flowing Water: Beautiful and Serene Works of Japanese Inspiration, featured images of a traditional Japanese bride in a red silk kimono.  Moments in Antiquity, a collection of images from Italy, was shown at the AIA Gallery, Willamette Athletic Club, Torrefazione Italia and Artreach Gallery. Her floral and landscape images decorate offices, homes and medical clinics. One of her images was selected for the annual juried shows at Gresham Visual Arts Gallery in July 2009.
